Acrylic courts for tennis, basketball and pickleball

Sports courts, built layer by layer.

Four layers, each with one job: a primer that holds to the base, a resurfacer that levels it, a cushion layer for comfort, and a textured top coat you play on. Laid by our own team on new or worn concrete and asphalt.

Why courts fail

A court is only as good as the surface on it

Most court complaints trace back to a surface that was painted, not built.

  • Cracks that keep coming back

Colour rolled straight onto a base that was never repaired lets the old cracks show right through.

  • Colour that fades and chalks

Ordinary paint breaks down in strong sun, and the colour and lines soon wash out.

  • A surface that plays wrong

Too slick, too rough or uneven. The ball bounces where it wants, and players lose their footing.

  • Water standing after rain

Low spots hold water, and the court stays out of play long after the rain has stopped.

That is why an Acrlay court is built, not painted. Every layer has one job.

What’s inside an Acrlay court

Four layers. Each with one job.

You only ever see the top one. Underneath, the others hold the court to its base, level it and, on a Cushion Court, soften every step. Each goes on in as many coats as your court needs.

    Acrlay Primer

Seals the concrete and gives the layers above something to hold on to, so they bond instead of peeling.

  2. 02 · Second

    Acrlay Resurfacer

A sand-filled acrylic that fills pores and small dips, so the colour goes on evenly and the ball behaves the same everywhere.

  3. 03 · Third

    Acrlay Cushion

A rubber-modified layer that adds give underfoot, for courts where players train for hours every day.

  4. 04 · Last

    Acrlay Top Coat

The colour you see and play on, textured with sand for grip. The playing lines are marked on top of it.

FAQ

Questions buyers ask us

What is an acrylic sports court?

It is a hard court with a layered acrylic surface over a concrete or asphalt base. Acrylic binder, graded sand and colour are built up in thin layers to give an even bounce, steady grip and clean lines. Most outdoor hard courts for tennis, basketball and pickleball are made this way.

Can you resurface my existing court?

Usually, yes, as long as the slab under it is sound. That is what Acrlay Renew is for: we clean the old surface, take off anything loose, repair the cracks and lay a fresh surface on top. If the slab itself is breaking up, it has to be fixed first, and we will tell you so. Send us a few photos and we will tell you which case yours is.

What base does an acrylic court need?

A well-built concrete or asphalt base with a gentle slope for drainage and no loose or hollow patches. New concrete needs to cure fully first, commonly around 28 days, so that moisture in the slab does not push the layers off later.

How much does an acrylic sports court cost?

It comes down to four things: the size of the court, the state of the base, the court you choose (Hard Court, Cushion Court or Renew) and where the site is. Base repair can be nothing at all or a big part of the job, which is why we quote only after seeing the court size and a few photos. Send them on WhatsApp and you will get a written quote.

Hard Court or Cushion Court: which should I choose?

Choose the Acrlay Hard Court for schools, housing societies and everyday play, where a firm, fast feel is right. Choose the Acrlay Cushion Court for academies and players who are on court for hours every day and want more give underfoot. The cushion layer adds to the cost, so it earns its place where the court is used hard.

Can one court be used for several sports?

Yes. A multipurpose court carries lines for two or more sports, for example basketball, volleyball and badminton, each in its own colour so every group of players can follow its own lines.

How should an acrylic court be looked after?

Keep it free of dust, leaves and standing water, and sweep or wash it regularly. Play in non-marking sports shoes, keep sharp or heavy things off the court, and get small cracks repaired early. When the colour wears thin, the top layers can be renewed without rebuilding the court.

Do you take projects outside Kanpur and Lucknow?

Yes. We build courts across Uttar Pradesh and the rest of India. Share your location on WhatsApp and we will confirm the schedule for your site.

Can government and institutional buyers procure through GeM?

Chandra Sports & Games, the company behind Acrlay, is a registered seller on GeM (Government e-Marketplace). Message us on WhatsApp for current listings and procurement details.
